This area of the web site is for our clients and the public. It consists of links to publications on this site that are introductions to the law, as well as links to other web sites providing helpful legal information for non-lawyers.

Each topic that we list contains publications that relate to Tennessee or federal law. (For discussions of the law in other states, see Legal Services Programs.) Many of these publications were prepared by other legal organizations in Tennessee, whose help we acknowledge.

Information on many legal subjects may also be found at the web site called NOLO. The discussions there are not concerned with the law of a particular state. Please be sure to go to it in case you don’t find here a brochure on a topic that fits your situation.
